We make every effort to reduce the impact we have on the environment. To help us achieve this we operate an Environmental Management System in line with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. Environmental plans are available if requested along with project specific aspects and impact registers which take into account the immediate environmental and any special considerations relating to flora or fauna. 

The most obvious effect we may have is damage to the terrain we are crossing. Our mitigation is to use low ground pressure vehicles, for example, our Argocats can have a ground pressure as low as 0.7 PSI compared to a walking persons ground pressure of 16 PSI.

Each vehicle carries an emergency spill kit to prevent any spilt liquid being released into the environment. To mitigate the likelihood of this occurring any refuelling or maintenance activities will be conducted in the most suitable area available, normally on hard standing or access roads. If required a mobile bunded area can also be provided.

From a longer term perspective we record our company's greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and can provide these metrics at a company or project level. By working with our clients to reduce travelling and improve the efficiency of our operation we reduce our project emissions and overall company emissions.
